Literally unplayable on iPhone

Full disclosure: I have synced my game data with Facebook and can move between devices.
Since the last update (3.3), the game is nigh unplayable on my iPhone 6. It loads and then either freezes up indefinitely or simply crashes/force closes the app. This happens so frequently, Ive gone ahead and uninstalled the game from iOS.
I can play on my android devices, but they have severe lag that keeps me from scoring high or surviving critical battles.

Fix your game in your next update or youre bound to lose more players.
