More loot box greed

Tl:dr version. Loot box heroes this is what ea has gotten in trouble for, it needs to stop

This game used to be my favorite. I have been playing since launch and have spent my fair share of money on a supposedly free game and up until the most recent update, I was ok with that. The most recent update has stopped that.
When you play a marvel game it is usually because you enjoy marvel characters and until this most recent update you were able to acquire with guaranteed success all of the characters that had been released. Some required a lot of work and time if you wished to stay as a free to play player, but it was doable.

There are a handful of premium characters but with about 10bucks you could get them all, guaranteed. While the game does have a ton of loot box problems, those were mostly for materials to make you competitive at the highest level, they were not necessary aside from maybe one or two modes.

The recent update changed that. Now, in order to get some of the most powerful characters, including at least one character who has been clambered for since early in the games life cycle, you need to buy a fairly expensive loot box which has a chance of dropping these characters. This is why I stopped playing contest of champions and I am highly disappointed in a game I used to love.

Please fix this netmarble, until you do, many of us will not be spending anything, 1star
