The reason Ive played this game daily for over one year is that the method of character acquisition was extremely fair. If I wanted a particular hero or villain I had a very predictable path to acquiring him or her. With the most recent update they have created a loot box system for the newest characters. Spend crystals (a major in-game currency) and take a chance to get someone. In other words, gamble with your resources.

I have stopped my real cash subscriptions and will not attempt to acquire the new characters. Im struggling to remain motivated to launch the game on a daily basis. Netmarble took one of the best features of the game and corrupted it. Such a shame!
