Was great, but the last four updates fell off a cliff

Ive played this game since near its inception, and one of the best things about it was the opportunity to play as and work on any character (minus a few if you didnt want to put money into that channel). Then they suddenly added lootboxes and kept silent at the vocal outrage of their player base for weeks. They finally made an apology and withdrew the lootboxes in the next update, all the while adding new characters that were not at all available to players in any pragmatic way without spending. And in their most recent update? They added the exact same lootbox mechanic back.

It’s getting to be no different from any other mobile game where the best stuff requires your wallet. Many of us are sad because it wasn’t like that at first and still doesn’t need to be. But the game’s producers continue to trash its reputation and their own, and Marvel’s, with each choice they make.

They claimed they were going to work on earning back our trust. They’ve just about lost it all now. Wallet warrior or move along.
