This is unbelievable. Netmarble has given us not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, but 6 paywall characters in the last 3 updates. Unbelievable. 3.6.0 gave us 3 paywalls: Nova(RNG bios), Anti-Man(RNG Bios) and Quasar. 3.7.0 gave us Luna Snow, and Adam Warlock, and 3.8.0 gave us Killmonger. In addition to having 6 paywall characters, they introduced two money-grab opportunities for them, in 3.6.0 and 3.8.0. The Ultimates Hero Chest, in 3.6.0 and the Black Panther Extreme Pack, costing 1750 crystals and 5500 crystals, respectively. The Ultimates Hero Chest was a premium Hero Chest that initially cost 1750 crystals, prior to its removal from the store due to the boycott the players started. It gave a guaranteed 6-star Ultimate Hero on the first and third pulls of the Chest. Yes, you read that right. A guaranteed 6-STAR on the first and THIRD pulls. So, there’s no telling how many pulls are required to get enough bios to get even one character to tier-2. Considering how bad the game’s RNG (random number generator) is, it probably could have taken well over 10 pulls. That’s 17000 crystals. Unbelievable. But, it’s a good thing they actually listened to us for once, and removed it. Now, the Black Panther update. Here we go. This update, they decided to give each new uniform (save for the uniform I’m going to get to later) a 1750 crystal cost. On top of that, Netmarble decided to bring a paywall to this update, as well. Yes, on top of having two 1750 uniforms, one of those uniforms belong to a bio subscription character. If that isn’t greedy, I don’t know what is, and I haven’t even gotten to the worst part of this update. The previously mentioned Black Panther, which costs 5500 crystals is a purchase requirement in order to get Black Panther’s new overpowered uniform, and the new Legendary Battle “Extreme Mode” gameplay. We also get a non-mega tier-2 ticket, and a crappy Black Panther premium card. None of those, even together are worth 5,500 crystals. I would much prefer to have the first two uniforms at a regular 1250 cost, and the Black Panther at 1750 crystals. I don’t care for the paywall, but the fact that they shamelessly added him is what pushed me. This game is rolling downhill into the depths of the other freemium games that horribly crashed and shutdown due to greed. I really wish Netmarble abandoned the game and let someone else take over the production, because the way Netmarble is taking this game, Marvel Future Fight won’t have long until it self-destructs. Sure it’s tricked out but come on! That’s ridiculous. No option for the base uni? You guys are really ratcheting up the P2W aspect and that blows.

The one great thing about this game, the thing that it gets right, is that you could choose the character you want to work on. Even if that means spending real money. You choose what you want to spend money on. Unfortunately, the last three updates have introduced and continued the random rewarding of character bios for new characters. In other words they took away your choice, and introduced what can arguably be called a a gambling system to get new characters. And now in this most recent update? They have bait and switch. They show, in the picture for the Black Panther Extreme Package, rewards that actually requires players to spend money in a bios subscription character (Killmonger), because youll need that characters uniform at Mythical level. Not a simple task. Also, not the only task that needs completion for the pictures rewards. Yes, there is more. As tough as these requirements are, they are tougher because you wont find out you need to do them until after youve purchased the Extreme Package. In other words, instead of purchasing those pictured rewards, you purchase the chance to play for those rewards. I understand developing video games is a job and they need to make money. But the focus has shifted from making good games people will pay for, to how to make people pay and keep paying. It is sad to see the influence of capitalism poisoning video games this way.

Again they prove that stealing money is their only goal good game netmarble you are breaking this game that i used to love.

Decent game, however every time there is an update.. and i update the game. When I open it, it says install update etc even though i already did. Which makes this game unplayable for days and I can’t get my daily rewards because of it. Or finish my challenges and get the rewards. So.. this needs to be fixed. As well as max level characters stat boosts would be nice.

This game costs so much money to play. It never used to be like this. Every update has driven the price to play to go higher and higher. It’s only getting more expensive.

Game has stopped working sense recent update

This was by far one of the best iPhone game I have ever played. Being a comic book nerd it really got me hooked. I have been playing this game from the beginning. With in the last year they have really turned up the pay wall characters. Now even events starting with the X-men update and now more so with black panther are behind a step pay wall. It is still an okay game but net-marble is turning it in to a pay to win (or in some case just to play) game. I really hate that corporate greed is ruining this game. I don’t mind paying some and have for years purchased packages in the game, but now it has gotten out of hand and is only getting worse. So sad.

Loot boxes are gambling. Sad to see this company didn’t learn anything from the EA debacle. This company (NetMarble) is getting greedier with each update.

Seriously!!! Come on netmarble! Stop making everything so expensive!!!

I love this game. I love the characters and watching them grow. Im disgusted the latest blatant money grab of this update. Very little substance added for players who dont want to spend a lot of money to access pathetically poor "new" game modes. This feels like Netmarble is listening more to their accountants than their player base.

Let’s be honest in app purchases are for start up developers, this is a marvel game, marvel they should have the f money to make it epic, and not make us spend diamonds for costumes, like give us shards to collect for the costumes or something, major rip off game

Love this game but hate loot boxes. I’m no longer spending money on this game. Stop the gambling

You want Valk from Thor 3, spend $13! You want the iconic Spider-Man Villain Vulture, SPEND $13! You want Carnage? SPEND $13! And that is only to get the characters! YOU have to yet Level up, master up, and GET MORE SHARDS OF THE CHARACTER TO GET IT TO A 6 STAR ( Maxed Rank ). You want alternate costumes for your character, like Black suited Spider-Man, Captain America from the New movies, SPEND 1,000+ CRYSTALS ( In-game premium currency that you can basically only get from spending money ). This game used to be fun, and refreshing, but now it’s the same thing over and over and pay to play money grabbing mess.

I gave this game a 1 star rating before because of the lootbox controversy and after removing it they’ve done nothing to replace methods of getting Blue Marvel, Nova or Anti Man. After 2 updates with new characters and now an upcoming 3rd update since nothing. And now you want to gouge us for more money for costumes and hide content behind paywalls in the new update? Fix this Netmarble or I stop playing this game altogether.

Add new ways to earn Crystals and Biometrics

The good? All original content still in the game. But the new updates have all shown that the game is geared towards the players with money. If you have seen the Netflix Daredevil series, where a bunch of people are having the blood IVd out of them into the resurrection chamber. That is what has happened to this game. Its a shame, but as long as the are payers, that is how games will be designed. The same model as the tobacco companies. Feed the addiction to increase revenue. Can no longer recommend this game.

Although the 3.6 update and 3.8 update are not that good it is a fun game to play and is also free to play
