Netmarble getting ridiculously greedy with each new patch. Individual content for characters is being blocked by a paywall that’s the price of a $60 Game(literally). NM keeps apologizing and but it’s all lies. They say sorry then release more ridiculously high priced paid content right away. Last four updates have featured only 1 farmable character...other 15+ are paywalled. They’re making a cash grab to squeeze the whales dry.

What are you guys thinking NM. I Love Black Panther and at one time, I lovedd this game. There was a balance to it. Now........omg 5K+ crystals forcing us to buy it all or nothing!? It’s not even meta defining either!? Strange made snice of the cost, Thanos uniform cost made snice, Hell a even the debable over priced Adam warlock made snice in certain arguments.......but panther??? 5k+.....really? What’s happens when infinity wars comes out should we expect what? 10k Ironman, 15k Thanos pack.....when does it stop.....you charge hundreds and hundreds of dollars thru out the year getting more and more and delivering less on the worth. No!!! netmarble......we won’t stand for it......the line is drawn here. You are seriously on verge of loosing so many players to greed. How many boycotts do you need to see before you get it......

Over 40 dollars for black panthers uniform that makes him actually worth it, NO way in hell am I spending anymore money on this scam cash grab. You’ve disrespected us for the last time, screw this game and hopefully everyone else follows suit. NO MORE CASH GRAB

Netmarble is very quickly driving what was a profitable and fun game into the ground and burying it under the weight of their greed. It honestly feels like they are preparing to lose the Marvel license (like Marvel Heroes Omega) and are attempting to cash out as much as possible before it happens. Ill happily update this review next update hoping for the best but for now the game sits at 1 star. The last 5 updates have introduced overpriced premium content without adding any new playable content to go with it. This latest update is attempting to capitalize on the Black Panther movie hype by locking nearly all new content behind a $46 pay wall. To each his own with how much theyre willing to spend but lets take a look at the content. For nearly the price of a full console game you can unlock a new uniform for Black Panther (that doesnt add enough to his stats to make him a top tier character like the much cheaper Ragnarok costumes did) along with "extreme mode" for 3 playable battles (if theyre similar to their free counterpart battles theyll each be beat-able in seconds). That is the ONLY new content you get for nearly $50, the rest of the package is freely obtainable through other means. Let that package sink in for a bit and it will tell you all you need to know about the current development goals of this game. To go with that package, Killmonger, the villain from the Black Panther movie, is locked behind a separate pay-wall and the other new movie costumes are priced at a higher rate than similar MCU costumes in the game. Neither of those specific updates rock the game much since Nermarble has been raising the price of uniforms and adding more and more pay-walled characters but its pretty bad news for fans hoping to take part in the new content only to find nearly every piece of it is blocked. On top of ruining what could have been a great Black Panther update Netmarble is breaking promises made to the community. With massive community backlash and boycotting over newly introduced loot boxes Netmarble had agreed to remove them from the game and not lock characters behind a loot box gambling mechanic. In this update they once again introduce loot boxes under the label of random biometrics generators. New name, new price, same concept and its the only way to unlock a few fan favorite characters such as Nova and X-23. Two slaps to the face to your players/customers in a single update. Even 1 star seems too high for this update.

This is fun game. The progression takes some times but theres a satisfaction to it. Ive finally started earning lots of tier 2 charcters, but Ive been disappointed with the las few updates. I though the epic quest system was actually pretty interesting. It took me very long to get doctor strange, but it was worth it. I got concerned when the xmen came and magneto was locked in a premium purchase. And I get you need to make money, but why restrict new charcters people want to daily biometrics or in app purchases? You make Adam warlock a shop purchase but put in a pointless chapter in story mode to get America Chavez and some forgettable ultimates. Which one do you think people want more? But with the newest update, Im very disappointed. Locking the new uniform behind a near 50 dollar purchase. Oh Im sorry I mean a 50 dollar purchase or 220 days of not spending gems and doing all the challenges each day. Screw that. That and locking killmonger behind the 20 biometrics daily purchase. Stop now. Its bad enough the new uniforms are almost 1.5 times more expensive than the old ones, but now you have to pay 3 times that. Nah boi. Taking advantage of the new movie people want to see, shame on you. 5,500 for a character is already ridiculous, but a uniform. It might be different if this was for a new character, but black panther has been a character since day one of the game, how many people do you think havent ranked him up to tier 2? I dont even want the legendary rank, I just want the costume. Uniforms were originally for cosmetics and Im willing to pay 1000 crystals just for one. But not 5500

Very addictive. If your not ready to start spending money then don’t play this for you will spend money to boost up your characters. Trust me. I spent close to $100 in just 2-3 weeks.

This game is on its last legs. It’s making a giant push to make as much money from its player base as possible. What used to be a great game with surprisingly fair prices for paid content versus free content, has turned in a strung out dope fiend sucking crack heads dicks for that single dollar. I gave this game a 4 star rating at one point but how things are going now is just pathetic. Netmarble has become greedy and it has made the game significantly less fun to play. I am boycotting this game until things improve. I suggest others do it too

Ive played this game since near its inception, and one of the best things about it was the opportunity to play as and work on any character (minus a few if you didnt want to put money into that channel). Then they suddenly added lootboxes and kept silent at the vocal outrage of their player base for weeks. They finally made an apology and withdrew the lootboxes in the next update, all the while adding new characters that were not at all available to players in any pragmatic way without spending. And in their most recent update? They added the exact same lootbox mechanic back. It’s getting to be no different from any other mobile game where the best stuff requires your wallet. Many of us are sad because it wasn’t like that at first and still doesn’t need to be. But the game’s producers continue to trash its reputation and their own, and Marvel’s, with each choice they make. They claimed they were going to work on earning back our trust. They’ve just about lost it all now. Wallet warrior or move along.

Garbage update after garbage. Each update introduces new cash grabs. At one time this was stellar game, but it is clear that they are cashing out.

This is my favorite game of all time but the starting of the loading screen. It will download 558MBS. And then i downloaded it and i play like an hour and then i leave the game watching tv. And then i played again...IT DOWNLOADS AGAIN EVERYTIME! I downloaded all the time its still downloading if i leave the game!!! So i give this app to 2!

The system tells me to update.. go to update and it tells me open...not updating

Ive played daily since the beginning -amazing graphics, cool animations, content I was happy to grind through...but the last number of updates have been lazy and uninspired cash grabs. Even when you are willing to pay for new characters and uniforms, theres NO content to use them on. Veterans have nothing to do and new players are all caught up by throwing a few bucks at the game...then they also have nothing to work on. Almost zero play balancing, so the majority of characters are relatively useless. Aside from the beautiful graphics, its stale and the daily checklist feels more like chores than grinding towards a goal. Really too bad, I hate to quit but theyve made it clear new playable content isnt in their business strategy. Im removing it.

They are just getting worse. The last 3-4 updates have been nothing but cash grabs. I’ve been playing this game since it came out and I gotta say that I’m pretty bummed this might be the end for me. I don’t mind spending money on a game I love but clearly all netmarble cares about is more money, more money, more money. Take my advice, if you don’t have a stacked bank account don’t even bother with this game.

After 3 updates In a row now I know that the only thing they care about is our money and not improving the game nothing significant has changed in a year except new ways for us to spend money .......

The good? All original content still in the game. But the new updates have all shown that the game is geared towards the players with money. If you have seen the Netflix Daredevil series, where a bunch of people are having the blood IVd out of them into the resurrection chamber. That is what has happened to this game. Its a shame, but as long as the are payers, that is how games will be designed. The same model as the tobacco companies. Feed the addiction to increase revenues. Can no longer recommend this game.

I have been playing this game daily for over two years, and its was very fun. I spent money every month on it, but the last 5 updates have been very disappointing. It has show that creators, Netmarble, does not care about their players only in their money. We even had to boicot it for a while because of their actions....well they haven’t learned anything! #BoicotMFF

It was a great game at first but not it seems netmarble are getting very greedy. They are making it harder and harder to get char and wanting more and more money.. a great game gone bad
