Game went from fun to being nothing but a waste of money. All new content the past couple of updates is paywall and free 2 play people are basically screwed. Netmarble has really gone into the dumper with the new content, which isn’t worth the crystals. Their customer service when something goes wrong is also garbage. Game locks up when you make a purchase, they do nothing for you but “investigate the claim” and you never hear from them again.

I have enjoyed this game over a year. Spent well over $1000 on it. The pay walls are ridiculous now. 6000 crystals for good characters now. Since the addition of Phoenix, Scarlet Witch, Cheesy move Spider-Man, and Quicksilver the character balance has gone down hill. For example because everyone utilizes attack speed and cool down for spider man and quick silver...one cannot even get a chance to attack. A fight between regeneration Wolverine and Quicksilver is an agonizing 4 minute stalemate. Dark Phoenix against anyone other than Doc Strange is a 1 hit kill. I no longer enjoy playing this lopsided game. Time to delete and play other things.

This game used to be fun and the monthly subscriptions were reasonable for a something you’d play a lot but now... everything new requires quite a bit more than a the monthly sub. To top it off, they’re not updated much needed areas of the game that haven’t been touched since inception. The pvp system is just busted and is mind numbingly boring as you’ll be playing against the same OP toons over and over with little to no variation. The biggest culprit being quicksilver, Spider-Man (homecoming uni though that’s easy enough to get around), Jean grey, wolverine, dr strange and that’s about it. The devs have turned greedy and that’s pretty much been the cause of decline for this once great game. Time to move on I guess. TTyL Edit* for 3.8 update: Yup. This was the update that did the game in for me. Just check the reddit thread. I don’t feel like wasting any more time on this game. Moment my subs run out it’s bye bye Netmarble with my hopes that they get their act together.

The game is in an absolute state of chaos and abandonment by its developers. Its like they dont care anymore. • The game modes are very unbalanced and lacking maintenace. • The developers do not listen to the comunity. Despite all efforts from the community to let developers know that most game modes need rework, they cant seem to listen. • Cash grab updates every month. And this is really a big deal because this was not being implemented in the game when i first started playing. Basically Developers have engaged in this nefarious practice of overwhelming the game with irrelevant content locked behind insane amounts of money. Yes, they ignore the fact that the game is in desperate need of rebalancing existing game modes or introduction of new ones and they give us more garbage and irrelevant content at a huge price.

When I got this game, I thought it would be a little boring. Turns out, I was wrong. REALLY wrong. But, in my team, I have a Spider-Man 2099. He’s 5 stars and I really want him to get 6 stars. But, I can’t really. Because it is really hard to find biometrics and 6-star tickets. My only chance to get a 6-star ticket ended badly, because some kid caused a situation which caused me to be grounded for a week, making me miss out. So all I ask that the game can make getting tickets and biometrics easier, possibly by being able to use alliance points to buy stuff. Thanks for listening and have a nice day!

Most of the game is fun to play. But there are always a lot of development issues (enemies spawning in places you can’t kill them mostly) and their support group doesn’t do anything. Every time they update the app it won’t let me in because, “there’s a new version in the App Store,” but I already have that downloaded.... it’s super annoying. Game would be better with different developer.

If you are thinking of playing this game without spending, you will be disappointed. Update after update its getting expensive and no content update. Just character updates

I’ve played this game since a few months after launch (2+ years). I have every native t2 maxed, and every other char at minimum 6*/20 gears. I’ve paid almost $1000. This game has gone from inclusive to painful. It’s like they’re under new management that changed the company from a lifestyle and family focused entity to a money making machine. Nothing that made this game great still exists. It’s like they want us to buy all of these fancy characters and enhancements, but there is literally nothing to do with them. They are playing to people’s vices rather than to their enjoyment.

I was really really annoyed and disappointed by that, it’s starting to feel like y’all making the game less and less for the players, and more based off of how much yall can squeeze from the movie success! The uniform paywall is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!!! It is almost the price of getting a new character!!! And there is no way to get just the uniform without the rest of the stuff I DONT NEED. Some Peisen may already HAVE a tier 2 BP and just want the uniform!! Come on yall, I knew you’d make it more than the old ones so I saved up...I didn’t over 5,000 crystals save up tho, come on!!! I’m already saving for “Him”!!!!

Lots of forgotten characters that need reworks badly and more and more paywalls coming and having to pay to update some earned characters. Random loot boxes or pay $60 to get one character or unlock this character but have to pay to fully upgrade the character. Lots of paying. Game still doesn’t deserve the high praise after ridiculous ways of getting some things in the game and now Black Panther update $50 for some junk and only obtainable characters by paying for the subscription. And lastly Removed Satana’s 5th Skill joy.

After the a couple of months, you can slowly creep up to the higher end characters. However, now some of them require a high amount of crystal or an extreme RNG to get bios for the character you need. Before this, I would have done a 5star as all aspects were greats and had me doing different activities and events. Each different the last.

The money grabbing is getting out of hand. I have been waiting on a costume for black panther, that wasn’t the garbage that they created before. We get an update and now I have been waiting a year for this to revive a 5500 crystal disappointment. Think it is time to retire this game. I got this game to play with my favorite characters. Now I feel like I am being forced to play with the characters that the developers enjoy, to even have fun within the game. ✌?

Disclaimer: I will never pay real money for any of this. You work so hard to get those blue gems and go to the store to “purchase” a character of YOUR choice but instead it’s a random choice made by the computer of the shittiest characters you will never use. The ISOs: you work hard to collect specific ISOs in a certain order to get the bonus. Only to have to use your gold to actually cycle through bonuses which you are likely not going to be using or even want. It’s pretty lame. It’s only good thing is the cool characters and costumes/ powers

It keeps saying please update but it’s not letting me. If my issues were fixed this game would be a 5! Really love this game and I play it everyday. Please fix the issues.

There is a bitterness when you watch a game devolve from a generous fun and entertaining diversion to a Money grabbing, stale, waste of time. A bitterness that I think will taint any future "free to play" games I play. It is obvious there is low effort in generating new content and there is much more pay than free. Its like one of the devs says to another, some people will pay more than $50 for one character lets do it and see. With this half measure of effort and high expectation of payment I am choosing to not feed the pig that is Net Marble

Each new monthly update requires a player to spend real world cash (a lot of it) to be competitive. The last few updates essentially require you to spend money to participate in new content. It’s just not sustainable. This game will be retired soon. Don’t waste your time.
