Mff was awesome...right until you got RNG happy and decided to scam players...what a waste

Ive been playing this game for about 9 months, and Im currently VIP 5. Im typically the type of person who spends zero money on games. The last time I spent money on a game was when Playstation 2 was the king of consoles to give you an idea. This game was a lot of fun until the most recent update which introduced a gambling based system in order to acquire characters. EA had done something similar which was met with very poor feedback. Im surprised that netmarble would follow suit. Other than this in-game gambling, that uses real money as "crystals," I would rate this a five star game. Its unfortunate to see netmarble go down this route. They were already making grips of money off the player base, probably more than any other Marvel game out there. Thats why this whole fiasco is so confusing. I dont think the game should be boycotted, but perhaps just the whole "chance to get new characters via loot box" should be. Their is already plenty of faux gambling in the game, but this crosses that threshold into real gambling. I will update my review if netmarble remedies this loot box only character issue.

Remove the gambling from your game and make it great again

I’d like to first say, I love this game and highly recommend it to anyone. You’re probably asking why the one star review then. I’ll tell you why. This game has always been about the ability to grind out biometrics to make your character stronger. When I say always, I mean ALWAYS. Yes there are a few characters that are behind a paywall but that pay wall is small. $10 to 6* said toon, another $10 to T2 these toons. With this new update (3.6.0), they brought in loot boxes. What? Yes you heard me right LOOT BOXES. You know those things EA lost $3.1 BILLION over. Yeah they just introduced them into a game that has never had them or anything like them for over two years. Which locks some of the new best toons behind it. I wasn’t going to give Netmarble’s Future Fight a one star review, at first. Though after being on MFF forum and stating my opinion about the whole RNG system for a couple days now after the update. I’ve finally decided to go ahead with the one star review and this post. Because even after hundreds of people have voiced their discontent over the past few days about this very same issue. NM has refused to talk about it. They talk about micro patches and other unimportant topics. Yet nothing about the RNG inclusion or their reluctance to get rid of this predatory practice. NM you have a fan base that has a problem and you sit on the other side diverting the subject. Your almost as bad as Sean Murray after No Man’s Sky release. Don’t be a Sean Murray be Netmarble and talk about the real problem. We can solve it together. Some players have great ideas on a fix. Let’s fix this fumble and go back to the way things were. We’ll forgive and forget if you just listen and correct your course.

I’ve been playing this game ever since it launched and I’ve been happy playing it and spending real money on in app purchases casually but now after the new 3.6 update its just a money guzzler. It’s horrible that he new characters are a gamble! Please hear our voice netmarble and fix things!

I’ve played this game for months and I loved it enough to spend money on it, which I only do with cautious in general. And I was happy to spend that money because it looked fair: good game, good rewards for the money you put in. But the last version changed the deal: now for the money you spend on the latest characters, you don’t get a good reward, you get a chance to à not so good reward. Might you want the 2 characters that are locked behind this casino vault, and fully built, I get worried about the amount you would have to spend...

Netmarble is seriously greedy now They are just cheating upon Gamers

Nobody should spend money until Netmarble removes the stupid RNG Ultimates chest. Stop promoting gambling.

The players care, because we all trusted you. For two and half years you have successfully built our trust, only to ruin it with one greedy move. People didn’t care tooo much when you introduced rng card chest. U gained tons of money I’m sure. But when u apply that method to characters, u have stepped too far. People play ur game, because we know our investments are going to count, because we know u r not contest of champions, because we think you are good! Appreciate it while you have such a dedicated group of players, whom have shown that as long as you do well by our side, we are WILLING TO PAY TO SUPPORT YOU. But THIS RNG CHARACTER PULL IS NOT GONNA FLY! Because if we let it do, you will introduce this more in the future. And that will be your doom. Don’t lose the hold of this game’s future. We are fighting for it, you should too.

I have been playing and paying into this game for two years but this last stunt to squeeze more money from players is just plain insulting. I’m boycotting spending any more money or crystals and if there is no change I’m just scrapping the game. New players, don’t waste your time with this game until Netmarble fixes this latest scam!

New update forces you to gamble to try and get new caracters. This is pradatory bahaviour that cannot be tolerated. I will not spend on this game until they stop this practice.

With the introduction of Rng loot boxes netmarble has taken a extremely bad turn for the worse and promoting gambling. VIP 9 and will not be spending another cent on the game until this is fixed

Boycott this game. Gambling belongs in a regulated environment for adults, not kids.

The decision to make in game purposes randomized to force people to spend more money is becoming ridiculous. It’s bad enough some characters are hidden behind a pay wall, but at least you know what you’re getting. I understand the concept of continuous income to keep the game going, but there has to be a better way to challenge players other than forcing them spend more money and take more risks.

How can you do this to the community with the 3.6 patch, I don’t want to hear it, just fix it.

My favorite game only matched by one other title ruined by the latest updates random gambling loot box slot machine tier rolls for the ultimate characters......much like this update my ability to properly punctuate now has cancer as well....rip until this is removed down to 1*

please stop making new characters T2 unless we can use rank up tickets on them ... jus tryna get our money or take forever ... please let us use rank up tickets on T2 characters & this new update is HORRIBLE cant even get the character i want then we cant choose & gotta spend money for biometrics for new characters & the lab update is horrible cuz u never get biometrics for the new characters... PATHETIC

Like so many others, I am extremely disappointed with the inclusion of the new character acquisition system. I began playing August 2015 and have occasionally made in game purchases, up to VIP6. Just adding my voice in hopes the strength of a few can become the power of many.
