Might as well go get on horses I know nothing about.

Great game with plenty to do but the new characters are locked behind loot boxes so you’ll spend real money for a “chance” to unlock them. This is a new addition to a game that’s been out for over 2 years. Change this please!!!

I have been playing this game for at least 2 years. The game is beautifully designed and fun to play, but Netmarble’s greed has finally overshadowed these things. Update after update has dropped in the past few months and their reliance on random number generators and player’s pocketbooks has become the norm. They hype new characters that the community has been asking for and then tell them they have to spend difficult to obtain resources to “attempt” to get them from a treasure box. Greed is not a good look on you, Netmarble.

This was an amazing game till the gambling, rng, lootbox for 3 new characters was introduced. When/if they fix this I will go back and change this to a 5 Star rate.

The rating is due to the new predatory practices introduced into in the latest update involving premium character paywall ripoff . Blue Marvel , Anti man and Nova cannot be obtained without RNG Gambling.

With the latest update (3.6) the game has introduced five new characters that are from the team of ultimates and three of the five characters that are nova ,blue marvel ,anti man cannot be obtained from anywhere other than the loot boxes which makes people even children start gambling , I would recommend everyone who is playing the game to not spend a single penny until they stop this. WORST UPDATE EVER

Gambling is BS

So they made some changes to random paid loot box only characters. Haven’t had a chance to play yet, but I will give more stars once I see how it plays out.

You already have a way to make people pay for characters through bio selectors monthly but no you had to add more gambling

The Ultimates Update introduces random character boxes as a REQUIREMENT to fully unlock new, highly anticipated characters. If the game continues like this, it will not be worth your time.

Loot box greed has taken over the gaming industry. Im a day one player with VIP level of 10. Look at all the reviews of this game before November 27th and look now. This was a 4/5 Star game that has tons of great marvel content. Now greed has set in with the new 3.6 update. Netmarble keeps trying to bribe us since the update instead of saying we messed up and take the stupid loot crates out the game. The end is nigh for marvel future fight. This boycott is real Netmarble if you couldn’t learn from EA’s mistakes you deserve the losses your company will receive.

Do not down load this game. Full of gotcha tactics. Hide you wallet

Boycott 3.6 netmarble’s greed

First off, no other game has held my attention for the past year and a half like this one. The main reason? I get to collect, level up and fight with tons of my favorite Marvel characters! I even love the anticipation of new characters being introduced...until now. The latest update introduces characters you can’t get without buying a loot box and hoping you get the right one. Not only that, but getting that character once isn’t good enough. You’ll have to get lucky enough to draw them four or five times to level them up to a point they are relevant in the game! The odds are astronomically not in your favor. The whole point of this game for me was about collecting the characters and testing them against others. Now there are characters I can’t get without spending considerable amounts of real money. I know the overall goal for them is to make money and believe me, I’ve spent a fair amount on this game, but that has always been to enhance the characters That you unlock through hundreds of hours of playing and grinding through this game. Now it seems that’s not good enough anymore.

Nearly a year ago I quit playing Marvel: Contest of Champions due to their poor business practices making expensive offers on materials then immediately making those materials obsolete. Instead, Marvel: Future Fight seemed to have a much more satisfied gaming community so I decided to give it a try. What really drew me to Future Fight was knowing what I was getting for my time and financial investment. The game offered moderate monthly packages that made all characters and game modes available for those looking for the full experience at a reasonably competitive level. Sadly, the developer, Netmarble, has recently begun to experiment with an RNG (random numbers generated) approach to the acquisition of newly added characters. This system requires crystals in order to open loot chests with a CHANCE at acquiring the new characters available. There is no longer a guarantee to get the characters you’re looking to play with and build. This IS gambling. This practice is a major reason I left Contest of Champions as is it predatory to the community base and fundamentally against everything that drew me to the game in the first place. Unless Netmarble makes these new characters and all future characters available as they have been in the past I will no longer be financially supporting this game. In fact, given the bad experience with Contest of Champions and direction Future Fight appears to be heading... I may quit supporting all Marvel based video games in the foreseeable future. Marvel, your fans are loyal because of the quality you’ve always delivered, however, the developers who have licensed your properties are dragging your brand through the mud. Boycott spending in Future Fight.

This game is worse than pay to win. It is pay to have a chance to win but most likely still lose.
