I’ve played this game since day one and have always enjoyed it until today. I have spent a lot of money on this game and I will not spend another cent now that they have added random loot boxes. Shame on you Netmarble

I had really enjoyed playing this game as a Marvel fan. This game has many characters and has regular updates to keep things interesting. In my previous review I spoke about paid content, these days there are a lot. However, it was getting ridiculous. Premium characters were taking a long time to unlock and upgrade. The latest update creates a gambling system where you have to keep buying random boxes to collect the new characters I am sorry Netmarble. I used to love this game. But now, Ive got time and $$$ to spend elsewhere.

This game is really well done, but as of 3.6 has taken an irreversible step into predatory, gambling-like loot boxes behind which powerful characters are locked. Money for content is fine, but money for a ‘chance’ at desired content is a blatant cash grab, preying on the worst tendencies in human nature. Children play this game, shame on Netmarble.

It’s too bad. MFF has always been a more generous game at supporting their base and not milking the whales too much. And then they add in RNG boxes and that’s just greedy. Don’t download. Don’t support.

The latest update introduces multiple heroes hat are obtainable only through RNG locked loot boxes. Obtaining and advancing them realistically would cost a disturbing amount of money. Seems like they took a page from EA and deserves the negative backlash they are experiencing.

The game is quickly devolving into legalized gambling targeting minors. Its really not cool and something that should be legislated against - soon.

Love this game, have played it since launch. Netmarble has been making money hand over fist, and now they introduce gambling to win in the form of loot boxes. I love this game, but won’t be spending anymore cash on it until the loot boxes are removed.

RNG loot boxes that you must spend real money to get is bad.

This game has really turned into pay to win garbage, with no interesting end game content. Just a new gambling scheme every month with updates.

Ive played since just after launch, and have spent enough to be a VIP 12 (over $1k at LEAST), but the recent addition of random loot boxes for new characters has caused me to uninstall the game. I spent money in this game because I enjoyed it and knew exactly what I was paying for. Now, though, I simply cannot abide the predatory gambling model they have turned to. If you are a parent, do not let your children play this if the issue isnt fixed. If you are a gamer, respect yourself and the medium by not engaging in this type of content. Regards, MFF. You will be missed.

Spending thousands of crystals for a CHANCE to obtain a character is the reason I hate COC. Not smart Netmarble.

#Boycott loot crate!!! This is horrible and the reason I stopped playing Contest of champions. Netmarble redo 3.6 asap. I am not spending another dollar or crystal until you do. Poachermd

This latest update will not download properly and keeps defaulting.

The introduction of the ‘Ultimate Hero Chest’ transforms Future Fight from a game that leaned heavily on ‘pay to win’ straight into Loot Box territory. Loot Boxes take away player choice, unlike other already implemented paywall options like the Monthly Selector or other Biometric packages. I enjoy this game, but I will not support this new mechanic; not even with the in-game currency distributed to all players as an attempt to bribe us into acceptance.

It was bad enough when they introduced gambling for gear and cards, but I refuse to gamble for a chance to get characters. #boycottmff

Beware!!! With each update, NetMarble is increasing the cost of playing Marvel Future Fight. They had a great idea with the game & the various challenges and quests have kept it interesting. Alliances have made it personal...the good ones becoming like little online families. I have no problem supporting the developers with in game purchases and have done so to a greater expense that I care to admit, but what they are pushing for now is well out of hand. Before you download this game, realize that in order to stay competitive, many players have spent a couple of thousand dollars on in app purchases...the big spenders (or whales) have spent tens of thousands. Google search how much money it costs to get to VIP levels 1-20. It is staggering. No one starts off believing they will spend so much on this game, it happens slowly. Most of us have been like the frog in gradually warming water...this update put us on boil.

Netmarble has ruining the game and I am very disappointed in this new update. Change it back the way it was!

You’ve already seen what loot boxes are doing to Battlefront 2. Why is Netmarble going in that direction, too? I’ve been playing this game for a while now since it’s one of the only games where you can actually grind to get the things you want. I played contest of champions before this and I couldn’t stand how the only way to get characters is through those rng crystals. Now this game is doing it... unbelievable.

Like the title stats, this game is now like playing at the casino. You sending your money on character chest and hope to get the character you want. This game use to be great and loved the fact that when I did decide to spend money I knew what I was getting. Now with the new update 3.6 this has all changed and now you are gambling with your money with false hopes that you will get the character you are looking for.
