The game was great for the first 2 years... but then netmarble got noticeably greedy. They went from just paywalls to rng paywalls, and they have stopped trying to make the game level by revamping old characters. Kind of sad to see such a great game crumple.

All buisness models are intended to make a profit; this is a given. Only recently have digital companies started orienting their commercial lines to generate profit without a tangible product or reward for the purchaser. Net marble is jumping into the EA model of rng based purchases to compete against the upper tier players. This was most recently seen in Rng boxes for premium gear (ctp’s) and premium cards. This was considered acceptable because of the accessibility to non premium options that (with a lot of luck) could be comparable. The new patch is introducing what appear to be some of the most powerful and wanted characters in the game. The problem is the way you are able to obtain them. To access the components to play/develop these characters will require purchasing an in game box with a chance to obtain the necessary materials. Until this announcement was made there were some paywall characters but they were obtainable for a set price via biosubs. This is a shameful change in product delivery and is causing a backlash in the remaining player community.

New update introduces rng paywall chest characters

Over the last 3 months, theyve started to add $ RNG loot boxes. The best items now after 2 years are behind these loot boxes. And now theyre adding characters to loot boxes. Either this game is dying or going to begin. The entire community is in an uproar. Do not try. Coming from a 2 year vet who spent $500 on loot boxes and received nothing premium.

This game was awesome and innovative upon launch in 2015, but has recently made everything loot box. Two years ago you could grind for everything without RNG, but now more and more RNG in place. If you have not been playing this game for the last 1-2 years STAY AWAY!!! Netmarble is going down the wrong path.

I have played this game every day for about a year. But, with the introduction to characters that can only be obtained by spending premium currency on a RNG character crate I’m done. Didn’t mind the bio subscription because I knew exactly what I was getting even though it costs money. This is nothing more than a total cash grab now.

It was one of the best free games to play, you could experience 99% of the game without spending. Since I appreciated the model I ended up buying numerous items. With every update they continue to get greedier though, and with patch 3.6 they are actually locking new characters in randomized loot boxes. Theyve had other loot boxes for a while that didnt have anything necessary so they were easy to pass up, but some people spent a lot on those a d determined the odds of getting a decent item was under 1%. Youd have to spend hundreds to get that item, and now youll need to spend hundreds to get new chars (I guess pray that your fav char isnt one of the ones locked in loot boxes). This on the heels of the EA microtransaction fiasco. I am quitting this game, I highly recommend you not install it. Dont support such anti-consumer greed.

Had an issue with a purchase, after 4 emails and 2 weeks later, I receive a email saying “We had an issue on our end, contact apple to get your refund.”

THIS STUPID THING DELETED ALL OF MY DATA!!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS I HAD 6 STAR CHARACTERS AND THEY WERE ALL DELETED AND MY WELL EARNED CRYSTALS!!!! YOUR WORK IN THIS GAME IS USELESS AND WORTHLESS!! COPYING YOUR IP. ADRESS WONT HELP YOU EITHER!!!!! IF I COULD, I WOULD GIVE IT 0 STARS!!!!

First off, I deleted MCOC the very second I played this game! This game rocks! Very versatile and keeps me interested. Heres where I go from 5-4*. The torso posture 90% of the characters is so wrong. Many will laugh at me for pointing this out. My background is in Kinesiology, Reflexology, Personal Training, Massage Therapy, & Chiropractic. Anyways, almost every character looks as though they were born into a desk job. Tucked in tailbones, scroll the character to the side and you wonder how they can even stand up. Now I get it that the makers of this games job is the looks of the character to the comics/movies and create cool looking special moves and basic fighting skills, so posture prolly flew out the window of concern. But when your players look as though a stiff breeze could blow them over, well, thats not very heroic or frightening.(based on hero or villain). In the future(fight), please do not model super heros and villains posture after office employees. Another strange thing is some of the math displayed in the purchase area/screen. While it says 600 above where you get 20 biometirics daily for 30 days which equals 600, in “Tony Starks Stash” it says 2450 for getting 75 crystals daily for 30 days which adds up to 2250. Simple math. Anyways, please talk with a personal trainer about posture, do some tweaks so that the characters look as their posture should, and thank you for the great game!

I only downloaded this game for Thor; I prefer the standalone Thor Game, this game moves too fast lax 60 frames per second realism like Thor the Darkworld. Bring back Thor the Darkworld this lacks storyline

Greatest game ever until I seen the rewards of the new players! My son started an account and they treat him like he has spent $50 on content. Smh! It Should be on consoles! Level up system is amazing. New players are rewarded better than the latest big time players. Big disappointment!

I’m rating 3 stars because I love Marvel and this game has a wide variety of characters and good gameplay. However for the past few months the game has had a tendency to freeze, crash and slow down my phone whenever I leave the app. Because of this game I’ve had to restart my phone numerous times because the game would freeze my phone leaving restarting it as the only solution.

I change that you don’t need the passes for the history mode if you completed with 3 stars

Game is good i love the grind system but can you please make a dodge button..oh and fix this thing where my character doesnt have to run up to a person just to use a freaking special move like that’s so annoying and stupid I don’t know why you made the game like that especially if its a laser move like why not blast far away instead of putting myself in danger just to use it...also change the uniform cost why does it have to cost crystals why not atleast make it cost a bunch of coins or have biometrics...it’s so hard to get crystals that is unless im willing to buy some which im trying not to do so add a dodge button and change that thing with the abilities and i will be completely satisfied.

Just found out when I launched the game tonight that I lost everything. My team all disappeared and the game starts from the beginning with a tutorial. How do I get back my team that I worked so hard to build up and also paid for???

I’ll start this off by saying that this wasn’t the first Marvel RPG game I played. Before I got Future Fight, I had Marvel’s Contest of Champions. This game is so much better! One of the perks is that you get to choose which characters you get, unlike CoC in which you spin a crystal for a random character. The game is set up so that you get a character by collecting Biometrics (basically fragments of a character). You only have to collect 10 - 20 Biometrics to recruit a character and have to collect more to rank them up. There are over 100 characters (FF surprised me with the variety - they even had Quake and Mockingbird) and and even more unique uniforms for those characters. For AoS fans, there are about 7 characters from AoS (some uniforms too). When you first open the game, you pick a username and you immediately get a 6-star character (of your choice), a 3-star character (of your choice), a 1-star character (of your choice), Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, and start a mission that eventually let’s you get a 6-star character of your choice. As you play the Story Line you get many other 1-star characters. This game is NOT a money grab. I’ve been playing for a week (and spent no real money) and I already have 2 6-Star characters with full Masteries. The game is very customizable in what you rank up and how you do it (you can rank up Skill, Gear, Level, etc. and can add Uniforms, ISO-8s and Custom Gear). The game itself is very different from CoC in the fact that you move around a specific place, knock out enemies, then move onto the boss. You play with a team of 3 characters at a time and you can switch them out if a character gets close to being knocked out. You can gain Biometrics, Characters, ISO-8s, Gear, etc. in the levels. There are also many different types of games (Co-op, Mission, Arena, and Challenge) with many missions in them. I haven’t found a single thing I dislike yet! Definitely recommend to any Marvel fan!
