I pay this game daily and have almost every character, so that means I’ve spent a few bucks. The new update where it’s a gamble to get new characters is garbage, if it’s holds true and Netmarble ignores the community, I’m done like thousands more... Maybe they should have saved Apocalypse for this update, because it’s pretty much the end of Marvel Future Fight

Introduced random loot box only characters for increased gambling purchase methodology. Monthly subscription characters were not enough. This is in addition to that. Used to recommend this game for a decent free to play, a $14 per month subscription for fairly solid pay to play, and anything you spend on top at your discretion as a bonus. Along with making XP grind worse requiring purchase of tokens, making gold use very high to encourage gold purchases (recent attitude), and now random box heroes in addition to just random gear boxes. The quality of product, satisfaction of customer and value derived has plummeted steadily and sharply. The approach has become "squeeze out even more profit from the golden goose". Short-term sociopathic greed over quality and retention.

I probably spent more money than I should have on this game, but they have made it easy for me to not spend anymore. The new update is nothing but a cash grab. The App Store should remove this game from their library as long as Netmarble uses predatory/greedy practices. To top it off the customer service is poor and will not help you with lost crystals or items. They simply reply back that it’s against their policy. I believe we should all make it against our policy to play this game anymore. I will do what I can to get a full refund from my months of playing this game. I hope action is taken soon by the BBB or someone else. Do not play this game!

After EA’s failed cash grab, Netmarble pushes it even further with loot boxes for characters this time. They’re uber characters so NM needs to be taught a lesson. Don’t download!

I’ve played since almost the beginning and have spent money on this game. I have every character and haven’t missed a day of play is more than 2 years. This update introduced characters that can only be found in a loot crate based on RNG. I adamantly oppose loot crate style RNG methods for basic characters and therefore am leaving a 1 star rating. If Netmarble changes this method, I will change my rating.

This is a great game and I love to play it but the new update is going to be making characters only obtainable via random loot crates and no other way. Congratulations netmarble you shot yourself in the foot with this one.

I have played this game since launch and for the first time in 2 years they have locked a new character behind a loot box. At least with paywall characters I know what my money is going towards but paying just to get a random chance to get a new toon is ridiculous. This is why I quit playing contest of champions and most likely will be the reason I quit playing this game as well. I may not be a huge whale but I am VIP 11 and with this kind of thing going on I will not be putting any more money into this game.

What have you done to this terrific game??? Your update makes us feel disappointed!

Sad day today

I never expected this to become contest of champions... There is a reason why this game is known as Future Fight. Paying for subscription characters and packs was an excellent idea, but RNG for new characters, big NO. I’m sorry but I’m going to you 1 star until this is fixed since this is outraging everybody including myself.

Netmarble has become EA overnight. They are predatory, cash-grabbing greed-mongers who disrespect their loyal players who have supported them. I have played since global launch, spent a decent amount of money on this game, and always been a supporter. I am disgusted by the pay for the rng privilege of possibly getting a character which has now been added. This game is headed down a dark path; if this course is corrected I will once again support the game I love. Until then #walletclosed

Please dont turn this game into another loot box travesty. Ive supported this game precisely because it wasnt.

I used to love this game but cannot allow this introduction of gambling into my home. I am totally ok paying extra for characters I want but will never throw money away on random number generator gambling. Please remove this horrible ultimate hero box nonsense.

The new ultimates chest is a bad deal, and insult to the players who have stuck with this game.

Take real money for RNG to play

Good luck obtaining and working on the new characters they just added! Why not buy a few boxes to see if you can even play with them. I have been playing since release and have dealt with all the other unpleasant additions. This one disgusts me though.

This game used to be fantastic but now incorporates a “loot crate” system to obtain premium items. This practice is being addressed by both countries and states. DO NOT DOWNLOAD. “Gacha” games are a form of gambling in which children and adults alike may form problems. Boycott this game and any other that uses a “gatcha” system (EA games, etc).

Was a great game played for two years but things have changed and netmarble has gone too far with their greed.
